Recorded these last week. I wanted to showcase my left-foot independence on the hi-hat, so I recorded three tracks of jazz drumming.
Each features a section in the middle where, to showcase my left-foot independence, I keep the hi-hat going on the left foot while playing free-time-ish phrases on the other three limbs. The first two are at 114 bpm; the second is at 130 bpm.
These two are me playing on the other kit in the house. The first one is a showcase of left-foot independence. The second one is a short demonstration of a swung jazz groove.
