Flying R/C helicopters indoors: Four flights; Personal best, 6’53”

Here’s me flying a Knightforce Sky Copter (from Walmart) on four flights through the inside of the house where I live.

The four flights are called:

1. Ground floor tour and loop
2. Loop down the back stairs, through the basement, and back upstairs.
3. Other direction: Down the basement and back upstairs.
4. Three floors: Upstairs, downstairs, down to the basement, and back up.

I’ve recently developed a fondness for remote control helicopters. I’ve tried ones owned by my brother, but I’ve only recently bought my own, these past six weeks. Very much enjoying the craft.

Got one planned that I’m going to call “the Full House”—each room in the house, and ideally, through each doorway.

Addendum, August 29:

This is the closest I’ve come to achieving “the Full House”. Longest clean flight I’ve done yet: 6 minutes, 53 seconds.
